I like that the stand boasts, 8 adjustable height settings, catering to different users of various heights. It can take thicker laptops but also has clips to hold thinner ones. The rubberised grippers made is also very secure. You can tilt your laptop and i will remain attached to the stand which isn’t the case with the Tonmom. The main disadvantage of the Nexstand K2 is its weight at 234 grams / 8.25 ounces Versus 170 grams / 6.3 ounces for the Roost. That being said, if you would like the lightest of all laptop stands, the Nexstand X1 is made of carbon fiber and only weight 150 grams / 5.29 ounces! It is however pricier but if every ounce you carry count, this would probably be a better option!
