The Ultimate Destination Guide to Lake Como, Italy

We started a 6 week trip to Italy by making a 5 day stop in Lake Como. We decided to stop by Lake Como as we wanted a stop over to make our drive from Geneva, Switzerland to Florence, Italy easier. Lake Como turned out to be such an unexpected and gorgeous place that we wanted to share all of it with you.

However, we are savers that can’t pass on a good deal especially for an essential item we needed to buy anyway. Pat Schulte, along with his wife Ali began full-time traveling at 29 (20 years ago). They grew up in Minnesota, USA, began dating in high school, and married after college. They led a very typical suburban existence early on but later decided that their life needed a story, an adventure… something big! Their kids grew up on the water until we decided it was time to show them some of what life on land has to offer. This is where they sold their boat, bought a motorhome, and spent the next three years criss-crossing the US and Mexico.
